Caribbean premier league also known as CPL is one of the most prestigious leagues of cricket. After 9 successful years, CPL made a comeback with its 10th edition. The most awaited league started in august and fans are more than thrilled to witness the ball getting smashed out of the boundaries and raining fours and sixes.
CPL, started in 2013, was introduced by the CWI as a replacement for Caribbean Twenty20 which ran from 2010 to 2013 and is currently officially titled the Hero CPL owing to sponsorship reasons. The CPL presently features a total of six CPL teams including Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, and Trinbago Knight Riders.
