  1. Colin Munro (567 runs)

Colin Munro is one of the most well-known players in the CPL. The right-hander has spent his whole CPL career with the Trinbago Knight Riders, including the title run. Munro is the franchise’s third baseman and has a lot of experience in the field.

Colin scored 567 runs in 13 innings during the 2018 competition. He was on fire for the entire year, averaging 51.54 runs per game. The player’s unconventional personality aids him in scoring big runs. Munro’s 2018 season saw him hit six half-centuries and score the most runs in his career. That year, the left-highest hander’s score was 90, with a strike rate of 140.34. All of these figures demonstrate Munro’s importance to the TKR team.

  1. Brandon King (496 runs)

Brandon King, a young West Indian prodigy, is the second name on the list of most runs in a single CPL season. Brandon is one of the most improved players on the team, batting at the top of the order and scoring runs like nobody’s business. When it comes to hitting, King is a traditionalist.

The man’s greatest season was in 2019 when he scored 496 runs. That year, his batting average was 148.94, and he smashed runs at a strike rate of 148.94. King has spent his whole CPL career with the Guyana Amazon Warriors, where he has been a mainstay. King amassed those runs in the 2018 season with three half-centuries and one century, the latter of which he scored in the qualifier and which made him the top individual batsman in the CPL 2021. His overall batting average was 55.11, which is enticing to any batter.

  1. Chadwick Walton (458 runs)

Chadwick Walton may not have had much experience with the West Indian team, but he is a player you should have on your team any day of the week. Anyone would love to have a right-handed batsman at the top of the order, as well as the ability to keep wickets.

Walton hammered 458 runs for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the 2017 season, demonstrating his serenity and skill set. Chadwick has always taken the initiative in each franchise he’s been a part of. When the right-hander was in top form in 2017, he scored 41.63 runs per game on average. Not only that, but his runs came at a strike rate of 145.85, demonstrating the havoc wreaked at the top of the order. The right-2017 hander’s season was a windfall for him, as he hammered three half-centuries. Walton blasted 24 sixes in a single season, demonstrating his devastation.

  1. Glenn Philips (457 runs)

Many players start out in domestic cricket, develop a name for themselves, and then move on to international cricket. Glenn Phillips, on the other hand, did it the other way around. This Kiwi international became well-known after doing well in the CPL and was later picked up by his national side.

Phillips has been a stalwart with the Jamaica Tallawahs, performing admirably season after season. The right-handed wicketkeeper-batsman has been the franchise’s most consistent performer. His finest season was in 2018 when he hit 457 home homers. Glenn’s runs were hit at a 146.94 percent strike rate and an average of 41.54 percent. His batting line-up comprised a century and two half-centuries. The season was noted for the man’s demolition because he hit 29 sixes in a single season for the franchise.

  1. Chris Lynn (454 runs)

When Chris Lynn first entered the international cricket scene, everyone expected him to be a major player. However, one must admit that his talent has been underutilized by the majority of clubs around the world.

Lynnsanity smacked bowlers for fun while playing for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in 2016. Lynn hit 454 runs with a 133.33 strike rate during the season. The swashbuckling right-hander was in fine form, slamming 27 sixes in 12 innings. What’s disappointing is that his club couldn’t win the championship despite the fact that he was the best right-handed batter in the league.

He averaged 45.4 per run. Lynn has been a key member of the franchise since then.

  1. Lendl Simmons (446 runs)

Lendl Simmons is the most successful batsman in CPL history, having scored the most runs in the tournament’s history. Simmons has appeared in every season and has a strong track record of hitting home runs. But it was in 2014 that he had his best season.

Simmons has played for a number of clubs, but in 2014, he was a member of the Guyana Amazon Warriors. When the right-hander hit 446 runs, he was at the top of his game. His batting prowess included four half-centuries and 495 runs at a 49.55 average.

Simmons is the glue that holds every squad together, with a strike rate of 128.90 in that season. Lendl isn’t known for his big-hitting ability, but he had a breakout season in 2014, smashing 24 sixes. Lendl has been a constant for every organization he has been a part of since the 2014 season.

  1. Johnson Charles (441 runs)

Johnson Charles’ hit in the semifinal of the T20 world cup against India, which helped the team reach the final and ultimately win the trophy, is well-known among West Indian fans. Charles has always been the thug who knows how to draw lines in the sand.

In 2016, he had his greatest season with St Lucia Zouks. The right-hander pounded out 441 runs in 11 innings, which is fairly impressive. Charles’ rushes averaged 44.10 yards per run. The right-top hander’s score was 94*, and he hit four half-centuries during the competition.

With the bat, Charles had his best season, slamming runs at a strike rate of 143.18. The top-order batter’s devastation included 22 sixes and a lot of crucial innings that helped the team win.

  1. Shimron Hetmyer (440 runs)

In the last several years, Shimron Hetmeyer has created a name for himself as a batsman. But his brilliance shone through in the CPL, as the southpaw pounded runs for joy. His dynamic batting style, along with his ability to find the boundary, gave him a unique talent.

In the 2018 season, Hetmeyer pitched for the Guyana Amazon Warriors, appearing in 12 innings and hitting 440 runs. In the overall event, the left-hander batted brilliantly, scoring one century and two half-centuries. When Hetmeyer hits a home run, he always hits it in the fair zone. This is evidenced by his strike rate of 148.14, indicating that he was not in a merciful mood. The Guyana Amazon Warriors were unable to win the trophy despite Shimron’s ferocious hitting.

  1. Chris Gayle (430 runs)

Many people may wonder how Chris Gayle missed out on the most runs in the CPL 2021 season. So, the enormous man with the title of Universe Boss has arrived. For a long time, Gayle has been unable to stay away from any T20 record.

He’s ranked eighth on this list as well. The left-hander was at the top of his skills while the southpaw was serving the Jamaica Tallawahs in the 2015 season. Chris hit 430 runs in ten innings at a 61-run average, which is incredible.

Gayle recorded three half-centuries and a century so far this season. Gayle hit 33 sixes in the season, which is the highest for any batter on this list in a single season. Gayle, the Universe Boss, has the highest strike rate of anyone on this list, at 160.44.

  1. Lendl Simmons (430 runs)

Lendl Simmons is a legend among other CPL players, as evidenced by the fact that he features twice on this list as the highest-run hitter in a single season. Simmons climbed the ranks of his franchise one by one, and he got off to a fast start.

He hammered a lot of runs for the Trinbago Knight Riders in the 2019 season. Simmons hit 430 runs at a 39.09 average in 11 innings, which is extremely impressive. Simmons’ strike for the 2019 season stayed at 150.34. This demonstrates that he was able to get the team off to a fast start. During the season, he batted for one century and two half-centuries. In addition, Lendl Simmons had 29 sixes in the six-meter for the 2019 season. He will undoubtedly have a successful career in CPL.
