CPL 2021 Stats – An overview of how the batsmen have performed over the editions 

The Caribbean Premier League 2022 is here and is set to begin on August 26, 2022. In this edition, Saint Kitts, St.Lucia, Trinidad, and Guyana will host all matches. The players will be hoping to set new records in the CPL 2022 stats as a result of their efforts.

Best Individual Score in CPL

The top individual score in the CPL is Brandon King’s 132 not out off 72 balls. In his innings against the Barbados Royals, King hammered the ball all over the place, scoring at a strike rate of 183.33. His 21 boundaries (11 sixes and 10 fours) are the most ever scored in a single CPL inning.

Best Batting Average in the CPL

The highest CPL average is 40.68, which belongs to Colin Munro of the Trinbago Knight Riders. He has scored 1546 runs in 46 appearances. He has accumulated a total of 12 half-centuries and a century. Shoaib Malik, who has a batting average of 39.69, is exactly behind him with a batting average of 39.69.

Best Strike Rate (CPL)

With a strike rate of 181.18, Andre Russell leads the way in CPL regarding striking rate. With an average of 37.4, he has 337 runs in 16 games.

Hundreds of CPL

Over the years, Chris Gayle and Dwayne Smith have both struck four hundreds in the CPL, with just one other batter scoring two. Despite Smith hitting the fourth ton before Gayle, the Universe Boss has five more half-centuries than the former. Smith had only 8 double-digit scores over 50, compared to Gayle’s 13.
