Bengaluru Bulls with this win have overtaken Dabang Delhi K.C. as the table toppers with 23 points from six games. Delhi have managed 21 points from five matches. Puneri Paltan continues to be on the last spot with just 5 points from five matches.

In this match, Puneru Paltan had made a great start but they lost their composure against the experienced Bengaluru Bulls’ attack.

Pune started this match as underdogs, with Rahul Chaudhari missing from the squad, but the raiders made a good start. The young raiding duo of Mohit Goyat and Aslam Inamdar consistently scored points in the first half. On the other end, Bengaluru were struggling for points with both the top raiders – Pawan

Sehrawat & Chandran Ranjit, looking tired.

Pune defence was led well by experienced corners Baldev & Vishal Bharadwaj and ensured that Bangalore get no easy points. Pune inflicted the first all-out in the 15th minute, to build a lead of 5 points.

The Bulls tried to retaliate, with their young raider Bharat but nevertheless, the half ended with a score of 18-13 with Paltan leading.

Bengaluru Bulls, however, were not going to go down without a fight and executed a superb comeback after the first half. Pawan Sehrawat led the Bulls’ raiding with multiple raid points that gradually inflicted all out on Puneri Paltan in the ninth minute of the second half. A shift in momentum was visible as Puneri Paltan’s young attack looked in dire need of able leadership on the mat.

The Bulls inflicted another all out with six minutes to go and extended their lead to 12 points. Sehrawat quickly completed another Super 10 as coach Anup Kumar’s Puneri Paltan struggled to cope with the intensity. The experienced lineup of Bulls made sure that there were no mistakes in the final minutes and registered all 5 points to their name. Pune could only manage 11 points in the second half which would hugely concern coach Anup Kumar.
