Will Jacks, a 25-year-old all-round batsman for the England National Cricket Team who plays for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL), hit an incredible century against the Gujarat Titans (GT) on Sunday, April 28 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Will Jacks from Royal Challengers Bengaluru showcased an outstanding performance, hitting one of the most remarkable centuries in Indian Premier League history against Gujarat Titans. Displaying an extraordinary power-hitting prowess, Jacks dominated the Gujarat Titans bowlers, hitting 5 fours and 10 massive sixes to achieve a sensational century in just 41 balls, his first in the IPL.Jacks reached his fifty at 6:41pm and smashed 100 at 6:47pm.

Two of the Indian Premier League’s (IPL) bottom clubs clashed off in a high score match on Sunday in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Titans (GT) were assigned to bat first, and although they got off to a slower start, they managed to score a respectable 200. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) managed to chase down the target in just 16 overs with nine wickets remaining because of a spectacular century from Will Jacks and winning stroke play from Virat Kohli. RCB chased down the target in the 16th over.

Will Jacks stepped out to bat during the 201-run chase after captain Faf du Plessis was dismissed in the fourth over of the innings. He looked impressive in the middle from the first ball and timed his innings well to reach the half-century mark in just 31 balls. Will Jacks appeared dissatisfied with his fifty, taking 31 balls to reach it. But he followed that up with a furious attack on GT’s bowlers. Jacks faced star leg-spinner Rashid Khan after initially focusing on Mohit Sharma. Jacks made an important contribution to Team RCB’s impressive showing, which saw them score 29 runs in each of the 15th and 16th overs. Jacks was also awarded as man of the match.

Will Jacks started the batting by hitting 17 off of his first 17 balls. He quickly picked up speed, scoring 83 off the next 24 deliveries and reaching his incredible century in 41 balls.
After watching the destruction by Will Jacks, former RCB captain Kohli was in complete shock. When he saw Jacks’ destructive batting, Kohli was shocked. Like him, Virat Kohli also celebrated Will Jacks’ achievements.

Jacks during post presentation “It’s amazing, he (Kohli) is a legend of the game and is someone everyone looks up to. To spend some time in the middle is a great feeling, a huge learning curve. When I go away from the IPL, I’ll learn so much from batting with him and playing with him. I’ll try to take it all on board. I need to be a bit more adaptable at the beginning of my innings and get myself in a little bit quicker.”
