On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will travel to Bengaluru and the nearby district of Chikkaballapura as part of his campaign for the Lok Sabha election.
He will speak at large-scale gatherings in Chikkaballapura and Bengaluru. Last month, Modi conducted massive rallies in Shivamogga and Kalaburagi.

After the first round of voting concluded, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated,“Getting EXCELLENT feedback from today’s voting. It’s clear that people across India are voting for NDA [National Democratic Alliance] in record numbers.” He restated, “First phase, great response!” in a post on X.

He shared the dais with JD(S) patriarch and former prime minister H D Deve Gowda on April 14 when he spoke at a rally in Mysuru. Later that day, he conducted a roadshow in Mangaluru.
The prime minister will address a large public gathering at Chokkahalli village in the Chikkaballapura district at 2:00 PM, which will cover the Lok Sabha constituencies of Chikkballapur and Kolar. Later at 4:00 PM, he will take part in a major rally in Bengaluru’s palace ground, which will cover the Bangalore North, Bangalore South, Bangalore Central, and Bangalore Rural segments. These schedules are provided by the state BJP.

Up to 60% of voters in all 102 parliamentary constituencies cast ballot through 7 p.m. on Friday. On Friday, April 19, the first round of voting for the Lok Sabha Elections 2024 was conducted for 102 parliamentary seats spread across 21 states and Union Territories. Voting was conducted from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Bangalore: The Congress’s D K Suresh, the brother of Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar, represents Rural; the BJP has its majorities in North, South, and Central Bangalore. The BJP’s candidate from Chikkballapur is former minister K Sudhakar, while JD(S), an alliance partner, has put up M Mallesh Babu from the Kolar Lok Sabha seat.

Arunachal Pradesh (2 seats), Assam (5 seats), Bihar (4 seats), Chhattisgarh (1 seat), Madhya Pradesh (6 seats), Maharashtra (5 seats), Manipur (2 seats), Meghalaya (2), Mizoram (1 seat), Nagaland (1 seat), Rajasthan (12 seats), Sikkim (1 seat), Tamil Nadu (39 seats), Tripura (1 seat), Uttar Pradesh (8 seats), Uttarakhand (5 seats), Andaman and Nicobar (1 seat), Jammu and Kashmir (1 seat), Lakshadweep (1 seat), and Puducherry (1 seat) are among the states and Union territories where elections were held in the first phase. The first phase of the Tamil Nadu election will involve all 39 seats.

Tejasvi Surya, a sitting member of parliament for the BJP, and P C Mohan, a candidate from Bangalore Central, also ran for office. From Bangalore North, Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje is involved in the conflict.
Renowned cardiologist Dr. C N Manjunath, who is Deve Gowda’s son-in-law, is running for office in Bangalore Rural on a BJP ticket as part of an agreement with alliance partner JD(S). Karnataka will hold elections in two stages. While elections for 14 Lok Sabha seats are scheduled on April 26 in the southern half of the state, voting for the northern districts will take place on May 7 in the second phase.
