Ayodhya Preparing to Celebrate Ram Lalla’s First Ram Navami Inside Beautiful Temple

Large-scale traffic diversions and barricades will be put up on the roads leading to Ayodhya beginning April 15, ahead of the inaugural Ram Navami celebrations at the newly created Ram temple here. While heavy vehicles will be prohibited from traveling on the Lucknow-Ayodhya route beginning at 2 p.m. on April 15, individual vehicles and motor vehicles will be redirected accordingly.

Preparations are in full swing in Ayodhya for Ram Lalla’s inaugural Ram Navami inside the big temple on April 17.
The Faizabad district administration and the Uttar Pradesh government are working hard to finalize preparations for the major occasion. Considering the majesty of the event, additional arrangements have been made on the temple grounds, and it has been determined that the temple will be open for darshan for 20 hours on April 16, 17, and 18.

The local administration and police department are preparing to manage a large influx of 2.5 to 3 million devotees this year. Extensive police presence and arrangements are being organized along the banks of the Saryu River, where the majority of devotees gather to immerse themselves in the sacred waters

Ayodhya’s Inspector General, Praveen Kumar, stated, “All this while, most families from the neighboring districts and Awach region arrived here on the Ram Navami day solely for the purpose of having a bath in holy Saryu. However, this time besides the local rush, we expect a lot of visitors from other parts of Uttar Pradesh and the country to experience the newly constructed Ram temple.”

Members of the Ram temple trust emphasized that devotees of Lord Ram should honor the birth of Ram Lalla by organizing celebrations within their communities. Anil Mishra, a trust member, announced, “We have tied up with the public broadcaster to telecast the important religious rituals and proceedings to be carried out on April 17 through internet and television. People would get to do the darshan of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya from anywhere in the world on April 17.”

Moreover, a Surya Tilak ceremony will be performed for Ram Lalla. In light of the anticipated number of devotees visiting the temple, the Shri Ram Mandir Temple Trust has opted to facilitate darshan in seven rows. Approximately 40 lakh devotees are expected to journey to Ayodhya to celebrate Ram Navami.
In addition, authorities have been instructed to conduct a tour of their various designated zones and sector regions in order to inform senior officials about the situation on the ground.

Meanwhile, the district magistrate and other authorities have been directed to maintain a watch to ensure sufficient security measures in Naya Ghat Zone, Nageshwarnath Zone, Hanumangarhi Temple Zone, Kanak Bhawan Temple Zone, and others. On its part, the state machinery and security services are monitoring the preparations around the clock.
Arrangements have been made in the control room to guarantee seamless coordination among several departments. Officers and staff will be assigned to work three shifts to provide round-the-clock monitoring. In addition to the police department, staff from the city health department, Ayodhya Municipal Corporation, and municipal power department have been put on high alert. This proactive technique guarantees that duties given to each department are completed quickly.
On Saturday, Uttar Pradesh’s Chief Secretary called a meeting to plan for Ram Navami. The Navami fair began in Ayodhya on April 9 and is slated to end on April 17.
