Union Minister’s Remark on Bengaluru Cafe Blast Suspect Sparks Anger from CM Stalin:

According to Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje, the suspect in the Rameshwaram cafe bombing is from Tamil Nadu.

Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje demanded the resignation of Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara on Tuesday, accusing the Congress government of bias against Hindus, amid tensions over the alleged assault on a trader for playing the ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ loudly in his shop during Azaan (Islamic call to prayer).

According to police, a gang of teenagers assaulted a shopkeeper on Juma Masjid Road on Sunday during ‘Azaan’ when he played ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ loudly in his shop.

The BJP has called for a peaceful parade from the victim Mukesh’s shop, with participants singing ‘Hanuman Chalisa’.

“Boys beat up a boy in a shop while he was listening to Hanuman Chalisa.” I recently watched a video of them going around with exposed swords in RT Nagar. There is no action. This government defends minorities and is anti-Hindu… We demand the resignation of Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara due to the miserable state of peace and order… “We will keep fighting,” Karandlaje stated.

While outlining a number of incidents involving individuals from various states engaged in criminal activity in Karnataka, the minister went on to imply that the suspect in the March 1 bomb at The Rameshwaram Cafe was from Tamil Nadu.

The BJP MP had previously stated, “One person comes from Tamil Nadu and plants a bomb in a cafe.” Another man arrives from Delhi and chants pro-Pakistan slogans in the Vidhan Soudha. Another man arrives from Kerala and pours acid at the college students.

It should be mentioned that the National Investigation Agency (NIA), which is handling the probe into the Rameshwaram Cafe blast, has yet to reveal the identification of the suspect. The state administration announced earlier this month that the NIA is close to discovering the suspect and determining his identity.

In response to Karandlaje’s allegations, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin sharply condemned what he described as a “reckless statement,” stating that “one must either be an NIA official or closely linked” to the blast to make such assertions.”She clearly lacks the authority to make such assertions. “Tamils and Kannadigas alike will reject this divisive rhetoric of the BJP,” Stalin stated, demanding for appropriate judicial action against the Union Minister for “threatening peace, harmony, and national unity.”

Earlier in the day, Union Minister Karandlaje joined protests in Bengaluru after an argument between a group of people and a shopkeeper during ‘Azaan’ time on Sunday, March 17, near Siddanna Layout.

The Tamil Nadu CM stated on X, “From the Prime Minister to cadre, everyone in the BJP should stop engaging in this dirty divisive politics at once. ECI must take note of this hate speech and take harsh action promptly.”
