Lucknow Super Giants beat Chennai Super Kings by six wickets and register their first victory in the IPL 2022 at the Brabourne Stadium. 

LSG rode on blazing half-centuries by Evin Lewis (55 off 23 deliveries) and Quinton de Kock (61 off 45) to chase a 211-run target with three balls to spare. 

Apart from de Kock and Lewis, KL Rahul also scored 40 off 26 and added 99 runs for the first wicket. Ayush Badonia played a 19-run cameo off nine balls to finish the game along with Lewis. 

Earlier, opener Robin Uthappa blasted a 25-ball 50 while local lad Shivam Dube struck a 30-ball 49 to prop up CSK to 210/7.

Moeen Ali(35), Ambati Rayudu(27), Ravindra Jadeja(17), and MS Dhoni(16*) gave notable contributions to power CSK past the 200-run mark. 

LSG captain Rahul had won the toss and elected to field first at a venue where dew played a massive role throughout the match.
