Tottenham to sign Georginio Wijnaldum

According to The Daily Mail, Tottenham are considering making a bid for Georginio Wijnaldum as they aim to bolster their midfield after potentially letting go of Tanguy Ndombele. The former Liverpool midfielder is understood to be unhappy about his situation at the French capital and is looking to make a way back to the familiarity of the Premier League.

Roma are in talks to sign the Frenchman from the London club paving the way for Wijnaldum to seal a move to Spurs. The North London club and the French giants are in talks to faciliate a move away for the Dutch midfielder.


Aston Villa to sign Rodrigo Bentancur 

According to Sky Sports, Aston Villa are set to make a move for Juventus midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur as they aim to bolster their midfield options. Steven Gerrard is a big admirer of the Uruguayan and are set to make a move. The English club haven’t made an official move yet but they are evaluating their options before making a formal offer.

It is understood that the Serie A side is not interested in a transfer in the middle of the season as they aim to finish the season strongly. They could be tempted by an offer in the summer if the English side are willing to do a deal at the end of the season.


Juventus enter race to sign Dusan Vlahovic

Juventus have entered the race to sign Fiorentina Dusan Vlahovic as they compete with Arsenal to secure the striker’s signature accoding to The Times. Vlahovic has been accused of ignoring the club’s calls by Fiorentina chief executive Joe Barone following the Gunners’ reported bid for the Serie A forward.

The Serbian has outlined his intentions of leaving the Italian club for greener pastures and would prefer a move to Turin over London. Juventus will make an offer to their Serie A rivals before the transfer window closes shut at the end of the month.


Brentford to sign Christian Eriksen

Brentford are close to finalising terms on a six-month contract with Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen according to reports from Sky Sports. The Bees are prepared to recruit the Danish international despite his health concerns after they studied the possbilities and reprecussions of his signing.

The Danish midfielder is keen on a move back to the Premier League and would welcome a move to Brentford as he wishes to represent his homeland in the upcoming 2022 World Cup. 


Liverpool set to make move for Eduardo Camavinga

Liverpool are monitoring the situation of Eduardo Camavinga at Real Madrid and are prepared to make an offer for the French international according to El Nacional. The Reds were interested in signing the French midfielder prior to his move to the Spanish giants but didn’t have the financial prowess to faciliate a move.

The 19-year-old has made a tough start to life at Spain and could be persuaded to move to Liverpool where he would be assured of a starting spot in the lineup.

The Reds are preparing an offer which will see a move materialize in the summer as they aim to bolster their midfield options ahead of the next campaign. Real Madrid are not interested in a possible Camavinga departure although they will consider a serious offer for the Frenchman.


Newcastle to make offer for Jesse Lingard

Newcastle United are preparing an offer that will see Manchester United attacker Jesse Lingard arrive at the Tyneside club on loan for the rest of the season according to Manchester Evening News. The Magpies are willing to cover the 29-year-old’s £100,000 per week wages until the end of the season, with no buy option included in any final agreement.

The Englishman’s current deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the summer and it is likely that Lingard will move on to greener pastures in the summer. United will likely accept any incoming offer from Newcastle if they also receive a loan fee for the attacker.


Derby County confirm that Chelsea have signed young left-back Dylan Williams

In a statement, Derby County have confirmed the news that Dylan Williams has signed for Chelsea for an undisclosed fee this month and becomes the Blues’ first new signing in January. The Stamford Bridge side were heavily linked with a move for Williams although the 18-year-old has had other suitors over the last few weeks as well.

“Dylan Williams has today left Derby County to sign for Premier League club Chelsea. The second-year scholar, who turned 18 in December, has joined the reigning UEFA Champions League holders after an undisclosed agreement was reached by the two clubs. Williams, at the age of just 16, was the youngest player to start in the Rams’ Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie at Chorley just over a year ago on what was his professional debut,” reads the statement.


Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang looking to stay in Europe amidst interest from Saudi Arabia

According to the Athletic, Arsenal forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang wants to remain in Europe if he is to leave the North Londoners despite serious interest from several teams within the Middle East. The Gabon international has been out of favour after being dropped by Mikel Arteta and has been linked with a move away.

However, while reports have indicated that the 31-year-old could leave Arsenal this month, the Athletic have revealed that any move for the forward will have to come from within Europe or else Aubameyang won’t accept the offer.
