Vijay’s last-minute heroics helped Dabang Delhi beat Haryana Steelers 28-25 in the match 55 of Pro Kabaddi League(PKL) Season 8.

It was a game dominated by defenders right from the beginning. The first half was a low-scoring affair despite the presence of star raiders on both sides. With raiders struggling, a lot of do-or-die raids were being played and the scores were level at 11-11 after the first half. 

The second half also began with both teams playing with an over-cautious approach. The defence kept matching each other with tackles as the raiders struggled to make a significant impact. There was just one point separating the two teams at the first Time Out. 

With five minutes remaining the scores were tied at 21-21 after which things began to happen for Delhi. Sandeep Narwal produced a thigh-hold to send Vikash Kandola to the dugout with 2 minutes remaining. Vijay then produced a 2-point raid in the final minute and then followed it with a 3-point Super Raid to take the game completely away from the Steelers.

Haryana could not find a way back and succumbed to a three-point defeat against Dabang Delhi, who returned back to winning ways in the season.
