The young raiding duo of V Ajith & Abhishek Singh scored 11 & 10 points respectively to contribute to U Mumba’s second win this season. Meanwhile, Arjun Deshwal was the lone star of Jaipur Pink Panthers as he bagged 14 points but the team still lost, due to a lack of apt support.

U Mumba won the toss & asked Jaipur Pink Panthers to make the first raid. Both the teams adapted a similar attacking strategy from the first raid to dominate the match.

Jaipur took a lead of 2-1 when Abhishek perished in a do-or-die raid. Jaipur maintained their lead 5-4 when Deepak Hooda was tackled by U Mumba captain Fazal Atracheli, who however went out of bounds to complete the tackle.

U Mumba then made a comeback with Ajith Kumar’s super raid, snatching the lead at 7-5. From then, the game was dominated by the U Mumba team. V Ajith Kumar was in excellent touch and picked up raid points according to his will. Abhishek Singh provided excellent support as well.

Ajith Kumar hardly made any mistakes or errors. Along with his excellent agility, his strategy and tactics were spot on and didn’t have any trouble dodging defenders’ clutches. The raider planned his moves to perfection which left Jaipur Pink Panthers clueless against his high scoring raids.

Mumbai inflicted the first all out of the match when Abhishek cornered both the Jaipur’s defenders, stretching U Mumba’s lead to 12-7.

Jaipur Pink Panthers tried everything they could to make a comeback but on the mat, only Arjun Deshwal seemed to be getting any kind of success. Deshwal had the responsibility to minimize the

lead but the sloppy defence from Jaipur Pink Panthers lead to this defeat.

U Mumba continued with their good performance after inflicting the all out and inflicted a second one at 25-13 when Deepak Hooda was tackled by Rinku’s thigh hold & captain Fazel Atrachali’s clutches.

Arjun Deshwal soon completed his Super 10 as he Mohsen Maghsoudlou to the bench with a running hand touch but until then, Jaipur were left too far behind on the scorecard.

U Mumba continued with their dominance as V Ajith Kumar completed his Super 10 as he sent veteran Dharmraj Cheralathan and extended Mumbai’s lead to 28-16.

Fazel Atrachali joined in the fun as he sent Deepak Hooda out of the match with an impeccable thigh hold as Mumba kept going strong.

While on the other hand, Arjun Deshwal had to do everything on his own and tried to diminish the score difference with every raid but he lacked support from all Jaipur corners.

Arjun tried everything he could and easily was the best performer for Jaipur in the match. He dodged the defenders well enough and made sure he had an escape route planned to make his escape after scoring raid points. U Mumba’s Abhishek also completed his Super 10 and Mumbai’s lead was extended to a mammoth 12 points.

However, a rare gaffe in the end by Abhishek when he wanted to go for an all-out saw him lose his footing on a double thigh hold but by then U Mumba had set the result in stone.
