After a terrible start to the season, East Bengal have shown clear signs of recovery in recent weeks, having gone four successive games unbeaten. Three of those matches however, have been draws and Robbie Fowler will know that his side need to turn those into wins if they want to really rise up the table.

Here they face Bengaluru, whose 1-3 defeat vs Mumbai means that they have now lost their last three Indian Super League games. However, they have benefitted from an extra rest day compared to East Bengal, which could prove a factor. In a bid to stop their run of defeats Bengaluru would likely be happy with a point here and considering East Bengal’s tendency to draw their most recent games, this one looks like it could well go the same way.
