U Mumba’s Rinku HC was a force to be reckoned with throughout the season for U Mumba. Even though the Mumbai-based franchise failed to make it to the playoffs, Rinku HC registered 7 Super Tackles in 22 matches as he led the U Mumba-defence strongly.
#2. Sagar (8 Super Tackles)
Even though Tamil Thalaivas finished 11th on the points table, their defender Sagar was the lone warrior in the absence of star raider Siddharth ‘Bahubali’ Desai. Sagar remained as the most successful defender in the league stages, and scored 8 Super Tackles in the season, finishing second on the list of top defenders with most Super Tackles as of now.
#1. Parvesh Bhainswal (10 Super Tackles)
Gujarat Giants crashed out of the Eliminator after Bengaluru Bulls thrashed them, and the biggest cause of this was a disappointing performance by the defence. Parvesh Bhainswal was a stone in the Giants’ defence which helped them cruise to the playoffs. Parvesh finished with 10 Super Tackles in 23 matches.
