Satish, the victim, was left helpless by Bhupendra, his previous tenant, and an accomplice who carried out a well-thought-out kidnapping scheme.

During heated discussions, the abductors requested a ₹50 lakh ransom from Satish’s family, eventually settling for a lesser amount of ₹5 lakh.
The crime branch team’s capture of Bhupendra when he was trying to get the ransom was the turning point. His detention yielded vital information that helped free Satish from his captors. Satish’s harrowing journey came to an end when he was freed from captivity, despite suffering injuries during the encounter.
During questioning, Bhupendra acknowledged that the kidnapping plot was motivated by his financial desperation. The money demanded as ransom, the weapons used in the crime, and the car used for transit were all found by the police, supporting the case against the offenders.
The kidnapping case was successfully resolved, demonstrating the efficiency of law enforcement in reacting quickly to threats against civilians. It is evidence of the police force’s commitment and diligence in ensuring the safety and security of individuals within the community.
