Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai was shot at by a gang connected to Lawrence Bishnoi, according to sources

Case of Salman Khan’s firing: The suspect, identified as Vishal, is reportedly connected to Rohit Godara, a well-known member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Mumbai: According to police sources, the two men who were seen on CCTV firing bullets outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan‘s home in Mumbai on Sunday are thought to be from Gurugram, Haryana, and are members of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi’s group. One of the males, named Vishal, is reportedly connected to the infamous Rohit Godara, a member of the Bishnoi gang who has a history of violent acts.
Police sources say Vishal is wanted for the murder of Gurugram businessman Sachin Munjal in March. Rohit Godara, who’s abroad now, apparently admitted to the killing on social media.

Both people were wearing headgear and had backpacks, according to CCTV evidence. The video also had them shooting in the direction of the actor’s house. A white t-shirt, black jacket, and denim pants were worn by one of the suspects, while a red t-shirt and denim pants were worn by the other.

The two suspects had been on a reconnaissance operation near Mr. Khan’s apartment building, Galaxy Apartments, before the attack. Following the abandonment of their getaway vehicle, a possibly stolen motorcycle outside Bandra’s Mount Mary Church, the two suspects are said to have escaped by riding a rickshaw to the Bandra railway station. According to the authorities, both of them have fled the city and are currently at large.

The police recovered their two-wheeler a little over a kilometer from the actor’s home.
Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother, took credit for the gunshot incident outside Mr. Khan’s home after it happened. He described it as a “preview” and warned the Bollywood actor in an online post.
The actor has received a message from Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who promises to support him unconditionally and to defend the law.
Last year, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) stated that Salman Khan was at the top of a list of 10 targets that imprisoned gangster Lawrence Bishnoi wanted to get rid of. The reason given was Khan’s well-known 1998 incident of hunting a black buck, which Bishnoi found disrespectful to his community.
Bishnoi disclosed that Sampat Nehra, one of his goons, had monitored Mr. Khan’s Bandra home, setting the ground for a possible hit. But the Haryana Police’s Special Task Force managed to capture Nehra.
On April 11, of last year, Mumbai Police received another threat call, at which point they upgraded Mr. Khan’s security level to Y+. An Indian student in the UK was the target of a lookout circular (LOC) after it was claimed that the student had sent Mr. Khan a threatening email.
