Stoinis, with his impressive physique and power, showcased his ability by hitting the ball to every part of the ground, frequently clearing the boundary ropes effortlessly. The delivery for the second four was deemed a no-ball, reducing the requirement to just 2 runs off four deliveries.

Stoinis cleverly aimed for the vacant leg-side region, outsmarting the fielders within the circle by lofting his pull shot towards deep midwicket, securing a second consecutive win for the Super Giants against CSK. After their victory, LSG posted a witty message on their official social media account.

“MS FINISHES OFF IN STYLE IN CHENNAI,” they wrote. referring to the well-known statement made by Ravi Shastri about MS Dhoni following his game-winning six that helped India win the World Cup. Super Giants smartly made reference to Dhoni’s finishing runs for the CSK on many occasions by using Stoinis’ initials.

Stoinis’ unbeaten 124 is now the highest individual score in this season, surpassing Virat Kohli’s unbeaten 113 for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against the Rajasthan Royals earlier this month.
