Abhishek Sharma had a day to remember as he guided Sunrisers Hyderabad to their maiden win this season, against defending champions Chennai Super Kings. 

Abhishek scored 75 runs in 50 balls and etched an opening partnership of 89 runs in 73 balls with captain Kane Williamson 32(40). Rahul Tripathi helped in finishing the 155-run chase with14 balls to spare with a blistering knock of 39 in just 15 balls. 

For CSK, Mukesh Choudhary & Dwayne Bravo picked up 1 wicket each. CSK have now lost 4 in 4 matches this season.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad displayed a strong bowling performance on a suitable pitch while Chennai Super Kings’ batters fought hard to post 154/7 in their 20 overs. 

Washington Sundar & Natarajan picked up 2 wickets each while Marco Jansen, Aiden Markram & Bhunveshwqar Kumar picked up 1 each. 

Moeen Ali was the top scorer for CSK with 48 runs off 35 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes before getting dismissed by Markram in the 15th over.
