An all-round show by Rajasthan Royals saw them defeat Delhi Capitals by 15 runs in the high-scoring thriller. 

DC came close to chasing down 223 runs with each batter contributing crucial runs to the run chase. But Rajasthan kept chipping in with wickets courtesy of Prasidh Krishna and Ravichandran Ashwin picking up 2 wickets each and Yuzvendra Chahal taking 1 wicket. ‘

For DC, captain Rishabh Pant was the top scorer with 44 runs in 24 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. 

In the first innings, Jos Buttler retained his impeccable form, smacking the second consecutive ton & third of the season and powering Rajasthan Royals to a total of 222/2. 

Opening the innings, Buttler and Padikkal added 155 runs in 15 overs for the opening wicket, setting the base perfect for a huge total. Devdutt scored 54 runs in 35 balls with 7 fours & 2 sixes, while Buttler smacked 116 runs in 65 balls with 9 fours & 9 sixes. 

For DC, Khaleel Ahmed & Mustafizur Rahman were the only wicket-takers for Delhi Capitals with 1 wicket each to their name.
