Pro Kabaddi League(PKL) Season 8 is scheduled to begin on 22nd December 2021. Due to the covid situation in India, the Pro Kabaddi 2022 will be held in only one venue – Sheraton Grand Bengaluru Whitefield Hotel in Bengaluru.

There will be no crowds in the stadium throughout the two-month-long tournament and all the players will stay at the same venue. 

The PKL 2022 will begin with a triple panga night as U Mumba will face Bengaluru Bulls in the tournament opener. The League’s ‘Southern Derby’ will then take center stage as Telugu Titans lock horns with Tamil Thalaivas in the second match and UP Yoddha will square off with the defending champions Bengal Warriors in the last match of the opening day.

A total of 12 are participating in the Pro Kabaddi 2022, namely – Bengal Warriors, Bengaluru Bulls, Dabang Delhi, Gujarat Giants, Haryana Steelers, Jaipur Pink Panthers, Patna Pirates, Puneri Paltan, Tamil Thalaivas, Telugu Titans, U Mumba, UP Yoddha
