Dabang Delhi, riding on Naveen Kumar’s 25 points, ousted Telugu Titans in a see-saw battle that ended at the score of 36-35 in the 35th match of the PKL 2021 on Wednesday.

Naveen began the game as usual and quickly gave Delhi a three-point lead at 7-4. However, after that, Rajnish began to pick up the pace and in no time, Telugu equaled Delhi’s score. 

Naveen, from the other end, kept collecting points and yet another Super 10 of this season. But that couldn’t help Delhi being ALL OUT, courtesy Rajnish. But Delhi quickly recovered and even took a two-point lead before Surinder Singh Super tackled Naveen as both teams ended the first with 18 points each. 

Dabang Delhi’s coach had a very simple thing to say during the half-time, “Stay calm and play the game. Just get Naveen back on the mat.” And that’s exactly what Delhi did as they went back to the mat and quickly got Telegu ALL OUT and took a five-point lead. 

Rajnish kept going on and registered his Super 10 of the season, that too on a do-or-die raid. From one end it was the Rajnish show, from the other, it was Naveen’s. Delhi kept maintaining a three-point lead until Rajnish did another brilliant raid to ALL OUT Delhi and Telegu went one point past them. 

Naveen kept succeeding in raids to get Delhi once again at the front but the deciding raid was of Rajnish, who got tackled and got Delhi a two-point lead. In the end, Titans couldn’t go past Delhi’s 36 by just one point.
