Patna Pirates vs Bengal Warriors Match Preview:

Patna Pirates have started off decently in this season, holding the 5th position on the points table, with two wins & one loss in three matches. Pirates had a victorious outing in their last match as they defeated Puneri Paltan by 38-26 and would be looking to continue their winning run.

Bengal Warriors let lose after starting off well in PKL season 8 and are currently sitting on the 6th spot in the points table with two wins & two losses in four matches. Warriors began their campaign with back-to-back wins but then went on to lose the next 2 matches. The defending champions would be looking to get back to winning ways after this slip-up.

Patna Pirates would be coming in with momentum on their side as every player of the starting 7 in their last match against Puneri Paltan managed to register at least one point to their name.

Defending champions Bengal Warriors started their title defence campaign strongly but are now going through a difficult time due to consecutive defeats in their next two fixtures. Sachin Vittala had an ordinary or rather forgettable debut for the franchise and coach BC Ramesh may look to bring back ace left corner Rinku Narwal in the starting 7.

Patna Pirates vs Bengal Warriors Prediction:

Bengal Warriors are expected to win this match against Tamil Thalaivas.

Bengal Warriors’ Maninder Singh started the season eight campaign by scoring 8 raid points in both of the first two matches. The star raider went on to score consecutive Super 10s in the next two matches, amassing a total of 33 raid points in them. However, these Super 10 performances came in a losing cause for his team. Maninder would have his eyes set on this fixture to complete a hat-trick of 15+ raid points in a match.

However, Maninder will face a direct challenge from Patna Pirates’ left corner Mohammedreza Shadloui. The all-rounder from Iran has been the best defender for Patna Pirates in PKL season 8 so far. He has registered 12 tackle points to his name from 3 games, averaging 4 tackle points per match which is a big feat. Shadloui will go with full power to startle Maninder Singh & the Bengal Warriors side.
