Borussia Monchengladbach, on the other hand, lost 3-1 to Augsburg of Heiko Herrlich in the Bundesliga yesterday. Augsburg won the match thanks to goals from Switzerland international Ruben Vargas, forward Marco Richter, and attacker Andre Hahn in the second half. Borussia Monchengladbach’s consolation goal was scored by Germany international Florian Neuhaus.
Manchester City has risen to the top of the Premier League table despite a poor start to the season. They lead second-placed Manchester United by 17 points, with two games in hand. Pep Guardiola’s team has been in excellent form lately and is considered one of the favorites to win the Champions League this season by many. Borussia Monchengladbach, on the other hand, is in a tough situation.
